Colours on screen

Just like any other website and on most printed colour catalogues, our PMU online catalogue cannot be completely accurate.

We have done our best to display the colours of the products on our website as accurately as possible . However, because the colours you see will depend on your screen, we cannot guarantee that your screen’s display of any colour will be accurate. Colours viewed on one screen may differ to the next. Images printed from our website may also not be colour-accurate.

The colours depicted on our web pages are for guidance only. Furthermore, pearlised and metallic colours cannot be shown adequately. Some makeup colours apply as intense, rich colour, while others look intense/rich in the package, but apply as sheer or semi-translucent. The finished colour, therefore, may not be as shown on our website.

Colours should be viewed in relation to each other as well as with descriptive copy and a makeup artist's advice. 

Colour is a subjective thing and what you see is not necessarily what others see. Lighting can also impact the way a colour is perceived, and both perception and environmental factors play a role too. The way an individual sees colours on a page will also be influenced by the other colours on that page, as colours interact with each other.  

Use the website as a guideline to view shades that you are already familiar with or compare colours in relation to other colours/shades. If you are reordering a product with the same category and shade name, please do not be concerned if the shade on screen looks different to what you see in your package.

If you are not familiar with colours, please email us to find out how we can help you choose colour before you order. Once the order is dispatched, perishable cosmetic items cannot be returned due to public and safety regulations, even if due to the fact that a customer purchased a particular item according to colours on screen.
